Adam Rozenbachs Bio

Stand Up Comedian/Comedy Writer

Adam Rozenbachs – stand up comedian, writer, broadcaster and ventriloquist disliker – has steadily become one of Australia’s funniest and most consistent performers, writers and broadcasters.

"Think Jerry Seinfeld with a black heart." The Age

He has performed three successful Melbourne International Comedy Festival Shows Wrong Way, Keep Going, Traces of Nut and Singledumb.

"Razor-sharp banter with his audience... there's plenty of laughs waiting for you… Hilarious" Sunday Herald Sun

Adam has steadily built a strong following over the three years, with 2009’s Singledumb season selling out.

"What a good night out at the Comedy Festival is all about. Rozenbachs’ specialty is going places other comedians fear to tread." Inpress

Adam is a regular on the Melbourne comedy circuit, performed around Australia, and supported Dave Hughes and Adam Hills.

He has also become a regular on Spicks & Specks, as well as appearing on Mick Molloy’s The Nation, Rove [live], The Comedy Channel’s Stand Up Australia and Headliners, 9AM with David & Kim and ABC1’s Sunday Arts.

"Crave some good, solid, entertaining stand-up? Here's Adam Rozenbachs." The Age

As a writer, Adam is one of the most sought after in the country. He currently writes for Spicks & Spicks, one of the shining lights on the ABC, and Before the Game, Network Ten’s highest rating football show. He has also written for Mick Molloy's The Nation, Skithouse, Comedy Inc., The Big Bite and The Logies.

In print, Adam was a regular columnist for the Herald Sun, as well contributing to The Sunday Age, Men’s Fitness, and Crikey.com.au.

"...writes jokes like the rest of us breathe." Comedian Fiona O'Loughlin

And when he’s not doing all that, Adam is also a broadcaster on 774 ABC Radio, co-hosting with Lindy Burns from 3pm every Monday and Friday, and Saturday Night Spin on ABC Grandstand’s coverage of AFL football.

Adam also appears regularly with Hughesy and Kate on Nova 100.

And, if that doesn’t grab you, he was a nominee for Cleo Bachelor of the Year, making the top fifty. And no, it doesn’t matter where he came… let’s just say equal second, shall we?

Adam has also provided corporate entertainment, for Optus, Animals Asia Foundation and the Great Grand Final Comedy Debate for Essendon Women’s Network, in front of such dignitaries as AFL CEO Andrew Demetriou and AFL Chairman Mike Fitzpatrick.

“…an unexpected surprise at the Great Grand Final Comedy Debate and we would have no hesitation in employing his services again. Adam was unknown to most of our guests prior to the event, however they are all well aware of him now.”

“Fantastic! Everyone loved him – he was perfect!”- Optus Corporate Awards Night
