Anthony Salame formally known as “Antoine”, is a young, cheeky comedian that has just hit the Australian comedy scene. With a background in theatre, Anthony’s presence on stage is like one of a veteran. He broke into the comedy scene, debuting in the hit stage show ,‘The Godmother’, in front of a sell out crowd at the Enmore Theatre. Anthony followed up by starring in Rob Shehadie’s hit stage show ‘From Lebanon with Love’, directed by Tahir Bilgic, which toured nationally.

Coming from a Lebanese background, Anthony’s style of comedy touches on every aspect of Lebanese life in Australia from racial discrimination to Shane Warne.

You will be “blown away” by Anthony’s impersonations of celebrities, including Mike Tyson and Jamie Oliver, and many more.

In 2006, Anthony’s first year on the Australian comedy scene, he achieved great success by progressing to the finals of nearly every major national comedy competition he entered.

He recently supported Tahir on his tour, and is one of the new stars of SBS’ hit show ‘Pizza’.

In 2007 Anthony put together his first full length stand up show “Lebanese Stand Up” which completely sold out.

Then in December followed up with ”Anthony Salame’s Christmas Special” which was a sell out at Sydney’s premier venue, the Enmore Theatre. It was a crowd favourite and will now be done every year.
